Q: Will you still take my car even if it isn’t running?
A: Absolutely! We purchase cars that are running or not.
Q: I don't have time to go there! Will you come to me?
A: We sure do! We can come directly to your home or office and perform the appraisal at a time convenient to you. We do charge $39.99 for this service.
Q: What if my car was in an accident?
A: We can buy wrecked cars also.
Q: I can’t find the Certificate of Title (a.k.a pink slip) to the car. Will you still buy my car?
A: We can do all the necessary paperwork to purchase your vehicle, even if the title is lost. (This varies from state to state, call for details)
Q: My car isn’t paid off yet.
A: We are fully equipped to purchase the car from you even in this circumstance. We can pay off your bank directly and cut you a difference check the same day if you owe less on it than its worth.
Q: What if I owe more than the car is worth?
A: If you owe more on your car loan than the value of the car, we will still be glad to buy your car. However, you will need to pay us the remainder of your outstanding loan balance by credit card or certified check when we purchase your car.
Q: Won’t I make more money by donating my car?
A: As of January 1, 2005, the donation laws changed radically. You are now only able to deduct the amount that the vehicle is sold for by the charity.
Q: What happens to my car after I sell it to the Dean Team?
A: Vehicles are reconditioned and resold by our dealer network and in our private auctions.

Q: How long have you been doing this?

Q: How much do you pay?
A: We buy and sell hundreds of cars per month. Therefore we have access to the most up-to-date used car market pricing information available. Our expert on-site vehicle appraisers take into account all the details you enter into our website and individually determine a value for your car based on the information you provide in tandem with current pricing trends. The purchasing manager's on-site inspection verifies the accuracy of this information and then your offer is presented.
Q: Do I need to get my car state inspected and/or emissions checked before I sell it to you?
A: No. Because we have a dealer license in the state of Missouri we can purchase directly from the consumer with no inspections needed.
Q: If I sell my car to the Dean Team, do I have to purchase a car from them?
A: Although we would love it if you choose one of our retail locations to purchase from.
Dean Team Wholesale is its own division and we specialize in purchasing vehicles only.
We do not sell vehicles to the public at our physical location in Brentwood. So you will not be dealing with a salesperson here.
Q: Can I sell a deceased relative's car?
A: We purchase any car, so long as you have the correct documentation to comply with local laws and regulations, which may vary by state. Your local branch is happy to advise what is required to complete the sale.
